Easton Maudit

Location 7 miles ESE of Northampton and 5 miles S of Wellingborough
Also 9 miles W of the ex RAF Bedford field, at Thurleigh.
Elevation 300 ft amsl
Runways
16 / 34  604 X 23 metres
Circuits All circuits left hand.
Windsock To the west of the strip
Rwy 16 is recommended in light winds as there is a pronounced downslope at the Northern end of the field.
Power cables running N/S to the West of the strip.
Avoid overflying village and farm on approach to 16.
 
       
       

Castle Bytham

Location 8 miles N of Stamford and 8 miles SE of Grantham.
Elevation 280ft amsl
Runways
15 / 33  500 x 20 metres Good level surface.
Circuits All at 800' to the NE.
Windssock Near buildings to the West of the strip.
A large quarry is sited to the SE of the strip and a railway track to its East.
Contact Cottesmore app on weekdays, since the strip is just inside the Southern corner of the Northen Stubb of the Cottesmore MATZ.
Avoid houses and village, directly North
     

Grangewood

Location The field is 3 miles SSW of Swadlincote; 5 miles SSE of Burton on Trent and 1 mile W of the A 444 at Overseal.
Elevation 330ft amsl
Runways 12 / 30 489 x 13 metres Uphill gradient at the West end.
Circuits At 800', to the South of the strip.
Windsock By the green hangar, to the South of the 12 threshold
Avoid overflying Netherseal village, to South.
There is a large wood to thw West.
You'll need to fly the East Midlands Cat D airspace.
