Biggin Hill ATCO and pilot Tim Slater was one of the first in the circuit. Others can be seen gathering on the ground. G-SPCA on finals, G-BYMB taxiing for takeoff. G-BNIK on the ground near the tower and G-ATFF and G-BILL in the circuit behind G-TSLA. G-ATFF lining up on 03 as Tim Slater crosses the upwind end. (but why are you positioned there, Tim, in a left hand circuit for 03?) G-CARP and G-XAJD queing for takeoff with G-BYMB on final. Lima Alpha and Charlie Alpha having a break from all the activity! Behind Tim is Thames Flying Club member G-ATFF in a Mooney.
G-TSLA and G-ATFF queuing for takeoff for a couple of final circuits before departing to London City. A very congested circuit! G-SPCA just airborne from touch and go, G-ATFF on finals, while G-TSLA turns final. Five Cessnas and a Mooney. That could make a good title for a film! Short final for 03. G-ATFF at the hold, where he had been while G-TSLA did a complete circuit. Not an untypical real world scanario at a busy airfield. The view through the floor! Six on the ground and one airborne.
