Club aircraft lined up on Runway 28 at Leicester. Outbound from Leicester, we started by overflying the field. FSNav view of the Cix formation outbound from Leicester. Here we come! We seem to have a helicopter G-RAMI tangled up in the middle of the formation!
Approaching the field on base leg. G-RAMI is still hovering about. Starting our display run at 50 feet. G-GYAV leads, followed by G-SPCA. The rest are in the second wave. Tail end Charlie. David Humble in VH-DAH makes his run. The Cix fleet then comes into land to watch the rest of the show.
G-GYAV taxying in to a very busy airfield. Pete Allnutt follows in G-SPCA and joins the line up. Aircraft to the right of them...
Aircraft to the left of them, and what's that at the end? It's that helicopter G-RAMI again! All parked alongside 07/25. The next display was by the new Airbus A380 hot from Toulouse. The finale was a flypast by Concorde and the Red Arrows.
Concorde looked like Concorde, but... ...the Red Arrows' Hawks looked like F16s! Just like a real world air show... ...without the noise.
