Passed Hereford, next Shobdon. Craig just visible ahead. Question weather! Switching off Active Sky ensured the wx didn't worsen. Kept with Craig most of the way. Passing Welshpool. Craig is overhead Llyn Efyrnwy, which caused pronounciation problems for some.

My nose flattened to the window for a glimpse of Aaron.

Approaching Llyn Efyrnwy myself.

Definitely getting yucky! Leaving Llyn Efyrnwy, and time to climb. 4000ft here we come!
By this time I could pronounce the reservoir, amazingly! Next waypoint... Bala. Normally you can see the railway, but not tonight. Alas, a little late with the photo, but Snowdon is circled. Getting decidely dark now, turning final, 08 Caernarfon.

Lining up on Gloucester 09. Everyone else has already gone, and I'm not sure I like this weather! Away... And I still don't like the weather! Overhead Shobdon. By Welshpool, the weather had mystically cleared.
But the gap in the weather didn't last long! Passing good old Llyn Efyrnwy. Bala behind, and I'm starting my climb. Scud running a speciality. Lessons available! Well, it is technically clear of cloud and in sight of the ground! Ahead are G-FLAP and G-GFCA.
Snowdon! There's a cafe on the top; I wonder if there's time for a quick cuppa... Over the top, and just 3 miles now to Llanberis. Wheee! Downwind at Caernarfon.
