Getting ready for departure, Wx looking OK..Taking their time offloading the new chairs! On climb out from Biggin. So much for the OK wx. Out of the clag at last! Approaching LYD.
Leaving the English coast. Approaching French coast Waypoint check, Wizernes. The many water ways including 'Canel De Neufosse' just west of Saint Omer
Waypoint check, Calonne. 'Digue d'Artois' running north. Leaving Calonne we see the town of Bethune and the Canal d'Aire. Approaching Lille from the west positioning for a L/H downwind rwy 26. Established downwind.
Final Early turn out departing to the west. With clearence to transit the overhead we reach Champagne Airforce base. Prunay is just south of their zone. Descending on the dead side for a L/H crosswind join rwy 07 Prunay.

Hmm? Might just find time for a spot of gliding. Yep, definitely in the right place Level of detail for this aerodrome scenery is very good. Freeware to boot :-)

Thanks to FSInn, it was 45 minutes before I could get going on the second stage. By which time David Humble had joined us from Oz Leaving Lille Behind Approaching Laôn The desert eventually gives way to... snowy desert!
