Night Flight Redhill to Stansted 08/12/05
G-GYAV circled the other two light aircraft, looking for a parking spot - "dancing" Tony called it. A ghostly 747 threatens to squash us all! G-GYAV on short final into Stansted 08/12/05. G-BAJD and G-BNXY are already on the ground, their FS labels merged together. G-GYAV east of Epping.
G-BAJD (Tony D) and G-BNXY (Stephen Banks) ahead.
G-GYAV, northbound, passes Dartford Bridge which stands out at night in the FS default scenery. Not much else does!
Stansted Controller's Exam night 04/11/05
En route to Stansted. G-XAJD overhead Audley End Airstrip VRP G-GYAV on right base for Stansted Runway 23 Tony D, in G-XAJD, the infamous paper dart, taxies to the GA Apron at Stansted, on 4th Novermber 2005 Due to a network glitch, Tony couldn't see any other aircraft on this trip, so he neatly parks on top of Peter D's Cessna 172!
These four pictures show (left to right) A tandem take-off from Hawarden : : On his tail! - low flying inbound to EGCC : One almost down, one missed approach. The two pilot's are Peter D and his son Joshua, aged 6. The computers are in different rooms, so no cheating was possible. 17/07/05
Two Club aircraft learning formation flying near Liverpool. 19/04/05 What's this? Peter D has been on a visit to virtual China, and has had the opportunity to wrestle with this beast - the legendary Antonov AN2, largest biplane in the world. The aircraft is by Anton "Xomer" Nikolaev, xomer@yandex.ru, and the panel by Chris Alevritis, Darien, IL. USA. 20/04/05 Another Russian aircraft, the cargo ship AN26 which Peter has been flying a little. Seen here skimming over the eastern Himalaya at its service ceiling of 16,000 feet. 20/04/05
Gloucestershire 19/04/05
Peter Dodds's Tiger Moth, a Piper Arrow taking off, David Humble's Hurricane Downwind Paper Tiger: The Tiger Moth as seen from the Hurricane. From G-DASR, both Tiger Moth and Hurricane appear as paper planes!
Tiger Moth G-ANOD, once belonging to Southport and Merseyside Aero Club, makes it debut appearance with Cix VFR Club. Unfortunately, Pete A sees only the SB3 paper dart through the windshield of his Chipmunk Dan Adams, (G-DASR) took this shot of G-ANOD and Chipmunk G-SPCA as he took off from Gloucestershire's 09. David Humble flies these very varied aircraft: A Piper PA28 Arrow (in Club colours) a Hawker Hurricane, and a Gloster Meteor. 19/04/05
Hawarden 05/04/05
G-GYAV and G-DGTS parked in the late afternoon sunshine on Hawarden's apron Alpha. Tim Arnot arrives in G-DGTS, carefully steering round the paper query. This is what SB3 displays if it doesn't know the aircraft type. G-TWLJ parked alongside the Cessna G-BILL which had flown up from Biggin Hill and VH-DAH. G-TWLJ turned out to be a Jet Provost. A huge shadow spreads over Alpha Victor. Independence Day threat? No, it's the large paper plane G-TWLJ who has followed us from Gloster.
Luton 25/02/05

Tony D taxies in at Luton to meet up with David H's PA28 This was the occasion of member Ruth McTighe's Vatsim Controller C1 Exam. 25/02/05 Preparing for flight at Gloucestershire. David Humble's Piper Arrow - VH-DAH looking much smarter with SB3 - and a large red ?
